Pictures of You - Poem I was in the agora of your problems. Surrounded by the bustling of words and shopping carts filled with mixed feelings and incomplete sentences. I turned down an isle and saw someone cleaning up the shattered picture frame's once holding your memories. I saw smiling faces once, laughter and inside jokes filled your picture frames.....but they were swept up in the chaos of the wreckage of a relationship. Once your store was filled with consumers longing for your picture frame but it was just outside their reach. They'd ask for someone to help them reach it, for hours they'd stand their determined to stake their claim on your relationship. Climbing the shelves they reached, they stretched, they wavered and fell taking all of the picture frames down with them. Cuts and gashes broken glass as if a bottle of fine red wine had just been knocked down. Wiggling to stand up they tripped and fell back into their own mess. They couldn't quite grasp what you had. They couldn't quite buy what you had.
