Poetry from English again I saw you while you were dreaming next to a battered drum You beat at it all day and night And crashed your symbols a couple times Well crash it once more Each crash like an ocean wave Against the floors of paradise I saw you dancing in the waters A circle spun like a lunar eclipse Feet dangling like a jelly fish But they never strayed from me not ever And you were happy and you were laughing But decieved I woke up
